well, as it seems that goblin has taken it upon himself to put every user on ignore who has dared reply to one of his topics in a manner which is not acceptable to goblin, and as yet this ignore feature does not appear to have been removed, I propose, that we allow goblin to have his own category on the boards entitled, "goblins only". I also propose that only goblin should be allowed to post to, and view this category, and that, because he has the special priviledge of having a category all of his own, he not be able to view, or post to, anyone else's topics. amen. *grins*
Yes. I really do second that!!! What I said to Goblin in the "His Sexy Voice" topic was just my oppinion and my congratulations to him for getting beyond petty shallowness!!! I do not think it was offensive in the least and being put on ignore for just stating my oppinions seems very rediculous and childish!!! So if we, the rest of the posters on the boards, are going to be subjected to this Lunicy, I believe that it is only right for this category to be created!!! It is really not fair when users state their oppinions, not to insult, but to enlighten others, and be shot down by being ignored!!! So if anyone feels the same way, please feel free to post!!!

well that's just the thing though, I did! and that's why I worked so hard at it because people were starting to say the reason I wasn't being ignored by him was because he fancied me! *grins*

well that's uncanny! considering that goblin has myself, harp, and sg86 on ignore, all the users who have mentioned his name in this topic, and yet he still thinks the topic is about him! well what can I say ... to use the words of carly simon, and .. yeh I know this has been done before but ... "you're so vain, I bet you think this topics about you" ...

well well now isn't that sweet. I just checked my ignore settings and goblin still has me on ignore. so it would seem that he is most likely looking at these boards on another window without logging into the site so that he can in actual fact read every post from whoever he wants, but still maintain the pretence that he is ignoring them! Now if that isn't a further reason to remove the ignore feature, and more proof that its existance is farsacle then I don't know what is.

ah but sg that's the whole thing, saying it's invisible means he can say that these people say all these nasty nasty things about him, but he's shown them! he has them all on ignore so they might as well be talking to brick walls. the fact that some of what might be posted could just be opinion on a totally unrelated subject is not of consequence, apparently. but I guess that depends on where it is you're reading the boards doesn't it, signed in? or not signed in.
Now this is something I have to say it's ... useless. I am sure that even Goblin would get bored only replying to his own topic. Sorry to be so harsh but ... I think it's totally useless.

Oh dear let me clarify. At the end of my first post I typed “*grins*”, so do you think by that, that I was serious? I created the topic more off the back of the fact that goblin has put every user on ignore who has said something that he hasn’t liked or agreed with, so, based on that fact, he might as well have a category devoted to him, in which only he can post, and which none of us can reply to, because he has most of us on ignore anyway, grins. But goblin seems to have proved that he’s not really ignoring us anyway because he’s reading these posts from the homepage without logging in.
Oh right ... yeah, then it's not a real suggestion *silly me*.

please don't misunderstand me here. i am well aware that screen readers don't do justice to sarcasm or irony. however a little common sense is called for surely? i mean we were hardly genuinely suggesting that goblin had somewhere that he could post too that only he could read! there would be absolutely no point in that what so ever!

Yeap, these Scotts seem to get so much attention and fame in real life that they have to resort to creating Zone dramas and abusing the ignore features to fend of international admirers. But I suppose it's good tohave a place where you can get away from it all and be just an anonymous face in the crowd, especially if you get to ignore the crowd completely.

Guys I might make myself very unpopular now. I understand your attitude to Goblin somehow, but I think sometimes you're just too harsh.
